Hard not to like an author conversation with a bin Hard not to like an author conversation with a bingo wheel dropping questions,
harder still when it’s @hayley.scrivenor and @ayliffetim on the creative processes behind their brilliant new books. Tim’s ‘The Wrong Man’ is the latest in his gripping John Bailey series, which I read while travelling in airports and ferries across Greece and loved partly for its familiar Sydney settings, and Hayley Scrivenor’s ‘Girl Falling’ her new standalone thriller set in a hazardous fictional Blue Mountains which I can’t wait to read.

Lovely to catch up also with writer and podcaster friends @dinukamckenzie and @anna_loder_

It's September already, just shy of a month to go It's September already, just shy of a month to go until the Northern Beaches Readers Festival and the incredible Bookish Brains Trivia Quiz , on Sunday 29th, 4.30 pm, where five of us plucky authors plus five lucky audience volunteers will be fielding fiendish questions from quiz meister Michael Robotham.

This will be the last session of an amazing weekend, guaranteed heaps of fun, and it’s actually free… yes, free. Can't wait to see you there!

I’m writing on Cammeraygal land, on Sydney’s North Shore land which was never ceded, and I pay respect to elders past, present and emerging.
